Get Smart (2008) has solid story line and helps introduce the great spy comedy to a new generation. The cast is absolutely fit and tremendeous, Alan Arkin, the Rock, Dave Koechner all kick ass and help make ‘Get Smart’ an instant classic. If you were a lovely fan of the original ‘Get Smart’ series, there’s no question you’ll love this movie. Steve Carrell was terrific as Agent 87 and seemed to
capture the essence of Maxwell Smart. Anne Hathaway was perfect as Agent 99. She did bear some resemblance to Barbara Feldon and actually delivered her lines in a similar manner as her at times. But more importantly, she had great chemistry with Carrell. It’s really worth to watch. Can’t hardly wait to watch Get Smart in my country. American Film Institute (AFI) had been relesed TOP 100 BEST HOLLYWOOD MOVIE yesterday. I will review some of them in my latest post and of course you can download the exclusive movie wallpapers too. Btw, The best romantic comedy was City Lights with Charlie Chaplin as the movie star. City Lights (1931) is charmingly simple story of The Little Tramp who meets a lovely blind girl selling flowers on the sidewalk who mistakes him for a wealthy duke. When he learns that an operation may restore her sight, he sets off to earn the money she needs to have the surgery done.
In a series of comedy adventures that only Chaplin could pull off, he eventually succeeds, even though his efforts get him in jail. While he is there, the girl has the operation and afterwards yearns to meet her benefactor. The tear-inducing closing scene, in which she discovers that he is not a wealthy duke but only The Little Tramp, is one of the highest moments in movies. This is classic comedy series worth to watch, I haven’t watch it yet, but here I give you some City Lights pictures I get over the internet, just right click on the picture and click “save target as”. Enjoy =)
