I think Dark Knight is the darkest Batman series, as well as one of the darkest, violent and gripping films, ever made. Start off with the actors, Christian Bale has done a tremendous job as Young Batman. But, the real star of the show is the late and great Heath Ledger, who steals almost every scene he’s in as the villainous Joker. In memorial of Heath Ledger, I think he is one of the most Hollywood high talented. This Joker is not like the other renditions; he is the best. The cinematography anyway is possibly the most sublime scenes ever chosen. Gotham and Hong Kong city are very wide, and yet, there is the aura of dark crime and corruption all around them. It really blends simply with the film, giving it a distinct and unique look every way. Quite simple, this is the best Gotham city in any Batman movie I’ve ever seen. I think Hellboy II: the Golden Army is better than the first movie. It takes awhile to get used to Doug Jones’ voice as Abe, but once you do, you see why it’s better to have the guy in the suit doing his own dialog. And Seth McFarlane does a fine job voicing Johann. I felt like there wasn’t that much action in it but it was still very entertaining and worth to watch. They spent to much time on the romances in the film. Also, the Hellboy II design work is superior to the first movie and the humor’s make me laugh more often. The fights are better and more thrilling and the monsters are way awesome.
