The beginning as previously mentioned is extremely creative with a clever cameo from Tobey Maguire and once the movie begins it is non-stop humor from start to finish.
Enjoy the movie for what it is. It is a movie meant for entertainment. The flack that Borat got and the flack that The Ringer got does not stop those two movies from being great and hilarious.
TROPIC THUNDER develops into the most uniquely wacky blend of satire/action/ and gross-out I’ve ever seen. At first it appears to be a straight-up spoof on popular war films, then it becomes a film within a film, then an attack on Hollywood and the film industry in general. Also present are some rather shocking (and hilarious) sight gags (exploding film-crew members, the brutal slaughter of an endangered species) that managed to catch everyone off guard (yet not offend them).

It’s been 6 years since The End, and 10 years since the first X-Files movie hit the screen. While that movie was intricately linked to the major conspiracy thread, this movie, as the trailer led us to believe, was a one-off monster episode, or so I
thought. Agent Mulder and Scully are back. The X Files: I Want To Believe 2008 itself is a fresh spin on what we loved about the series with some new dark undertones, that make us question what we believe is faith. The story moves scenes by scenes, one step by step. Almost like a puzzle of clues… never letting up until all the pieces of the story converge, and your presented with a tight, less paranormal but effective thriller, very in depth mystery movie. Most fans of this movie will love it. It is not heavy on CGI and action scenes but rather focuses on its characters and storyline. It represents what the show was: intriguing, on the edge, interesting and an 
exploration of the beliefs of its characters and this make X-Files: I Want To Believe more interesting than it may seems.
This movie is definitely one for the fans. If you are X-Files fans, don’t miss this one or you will regret it. Enjoy it in theatre =)
